Following a heavy 4-1 loss to Lyon, Nice will be aiming to give fans something to cheer about when they welcome Lorient at their Allianz Riviera. Les Aiglons are hit by injuries ahead of the midweek clash, with Danilo, Dante, Dolberg, Lees Melou, Maolida, and Racine all missing the match, and given their shaky defence, home win should not be considered. Anyhow, we predict that Nice will find the net in Wednesday’s clash as they are a real force to be reckoned with at home.

Les Merlus, on the other hand, will be without Bozok (ankle injury), Fontaine (Achilles tendon injury), Homawoo (muscle injury), Mendes (knee injury), Saunier (ankle injury), and Gravillon (suspension) against Nice. Lorient faced a tough fixture list earlier in December, with the team losing to both PSG (0-2) and Rennes (0-3) without finding the net, but they are surely capable of scoring against Nice, who experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the 4-1 defeat to Lyon.
