La Paillade just can’t find their best form in the Ligue 1, with the team failing to win the previous five league fixtures. Montpellier head into the match following a modest 1-1 draw with Nantes, and even though Michel Der Zakarian can count on key players for the Monaco clash, home win should not be considered.

Les Rouges et Blancs, on the other hand, kicked off 2021 in great manner, with the team rolling over both Lorient (5-2) and Angers (3-0) in the previous two league fixtures. Monaco have been in a splendid form of late, and seeing that Kevin Volland has found his goalscoring touch, away win should be considered. Even though Cesc Fabregas remains in the recovery room, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the visitors.
