All Mata, Lingard, James, and van de Beek are pushing for a start, with Greenwood likely to lead the line for the hosts. The likes of Jones, Rojo, and Williams remain in the recovery room.

The Reds, on the other hand, defeated Aston Villa youngsters 4-1 in their FA Cup opener, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry in the Old Trafford clash. Since Jurgen Klopp is likely to mix the squad as well, yet another low-scoring affair is on the horizon. Minamino and Oxlade-Chamberlain are both pushing for a start, while Gomez, Jota, Keita, and Van Dijk remain on the sidelines.
