Kosovo will be looking to avoid relegation to League D when they take on Moldova in their last group game in the Nations League. The Kosovars were on the verge of sharing the spoils with Slovenia at the weekend, but Atalanta ace Josip Ilicic eventually scored a late winner for the hosts from the penalty spot. Muharrem Sahiti’s troops are eager to get back on course, and it seem as if they will not have a better chance than this to do so.

Milot Rashica is out of contention for the hosts, and, in his absence a man to watch in the home team will be Vedat Muriqi, who found the net in the 2-1 loss to Slovenia. Bernard Berisha will have to serve his ban against Moldova. The visitors, on the other hand, are on a four-game losing run in Group 3, and even though Kosovo will be without several first-team regulars in Wednesday’s clash, home win should be considered.
