Bordeaux and Saint Etienne face each other at Stade Matmut Atlantique in what is expected to be a close encounter. Les Girondins have been having their ups and downs of late, but it seems as if their performances are much better than their results. Bordeaux did well to beat Brest in their last home game in the Ligue 1, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Saint Etienne.

Les Verts, on the other hand, are undefeated in the previous three league fixtures, but given their poor away record in the French top fight, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the home side. The likes of Kalu and Koscielny remain on the sidelines for the hosts, while Gabriel (injury), Macon (injury), and Ruffier (suspension) are out of contention for the visitors.
