DW Stadium will host Tuesday’s football game between Wigan Athletic and Rochdale, the two teams who played some exciting games at the weekend. Wigan did well to beat Accrington 4-3 at home, with Rochdale losing to Portsmouth (1-4) on the road. The Latics made a slow start to the season, but they have been in a fine form of late. Wigan Athletic are eyeing their third consecutive win in the League One, and seeing that Rochdale experienced all sorts of problems at the back at the weekend, home win should be considered.

Wigan attacker Will Keane, who returned to the squad against the Dale, should keep his place up front. In their last meeting in the English third tier Wigan rolled over Rochdale 4-1, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the home side.
