After suffering a 1-0 loss to Barnsley in their last league fixture, Watford will be looking to return to winning ways in the Championship when they host Stoke City at their Vicarage Road. The Hornets dropped to sixth position in the standings, but they are still seen as one of the main favourites to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League. Vladimir Ivic can’t count on the likes of Masina, Perica, Success, and Dele-Bashiru for the midweek clash, while experienced attacker Troy Deeney is rated doubtful.

The Potters, on the other hand, quickly bounced back from a 2-0 to Swansea City, with the team beating Rotherham United thanks to James McClean’s goal. Clucas has joined experienced duo Shawcrorss – Allen in the recovery room, but Stoke City are definitely capable of matching the Hornets, who do not seem to be at the top of their game at the moment.
