Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Roma will be looking to kick off the new Serie A campaign in great manner when they take on Hellas Verona in the City of Love. Verona have established themselves as a top-table side in the Italian top flight, and, no doubt, they are ready for yet another successful season. You should bear in mind, though, that pacey winger Darko Lazovic is out of contention through injury. Summer signing Adrien Tameze, on the other hand, is likely to make his Serie A debut against Roma.
The Giallorossi, on the other hand, missed out on a place in the Champions League last term, with their bitter local rivals Lazio finishing fourth. The club chiefs did well to sign pacey winger Pedro from Chelsea, who is likely to pose a big threat for the opposition defenders. Zaniolo is sidelined with injury, while the likes of Carles Perez, Bruno Peres, Kluivert, and Perotti are rated doubtful. Anyhow, a close encounter is on the cards in Verona, and we are tempted to put our money on draw.
