Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Thanks to Jordan Lyden’s goal Swindon Town defeated Northampton Town on Tuesday evening, with the team retaining top position in the standings. The Robins are on the right track to return to the league one, but they can’t afford any complacency in the remainder of the season. The league leaders have been impressive at home ground of late, beating the likes of Crewe, Port Vale, and Exeter City, and it is no wonder they are seen as hot favorites to win Saturday’s football game against Scunthorpe United.
The Iron, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 2-0 home loss to Cambridge United, and they are unlikely to spoil Swindon’s party at the County Ground. When the two teams met at Sands Venue earlier this term the Robins defeated the Iron 2-0, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered.
