Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
St. Mirren and St. Johnstone face each other in a highly-anticipated match at the Simple Digital Arena on day 18 of the new Premiership campaign. St. Mirren did well to shock Rangers in the League Cup quarter-finals, and, no doubt, they are brimming with confidence ahead of the visit of St. Johnstone. A man to watch in the home team will be Jamie McGrath, who scored a brace in the 3-2 win over Rangers.
St. Johnstone, on the other hand, are on a four-game winless run in the Premiership, and seeing that they failed to find the net in the previous two meetings with St. Mirren at Simple Digital Arena, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. Experienced attacker Michael O’Halloran is sidelined with injury for the visitors, while there are no absentees in the home team.
