Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
St. Mirren and Hamilton, the two bottom-table teams, face each other at Simple Digital Arena in what is expected to be a close encounter. St. Mirren dropped a two-goal advantage in a 2-2 draw with Hibernian at the weekend, but the team’s performances in 2020 have been anything but poor. The Saints aim to put an end to their three-game winless run in the Scotland Premiership, and they will not have a better chance than this to do so as they play host to Hamilton on Wednesday evening.
The Accies, on the other hand, suffered a 4-1 loss to Celtic in front of home fans at the weekend. Suspended centre-back Jamie Hamilton will be sorely missed in the midweek clash against St. Mirren, and, taking everything into account, we predict that the visitors are going to return home empty-handed from the trip to Paisley.
