Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Standard Liege will be looking to build on a 2-1 win over Vojvodina when they host MOL Fehervar at their Stade Maurice Dufrasne in the Europa League playoffs. The Red Devils proved their worth in the extra time in round 3, but the team’s performance was anything but brilliant in the triumph over the Serbian side. The Jupiler League outfit, though, are still seen as favourites to win the decider as they are a real force to be reckoned with at home.
Uruguay international Felipe Avenatti is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts. MOL Fehervar, on the other hand, did well to beat Ligue 1 side Reims on penalties in the third qualifying round. The Hungarians have been impressive at the back of late, but preventing Standard from scoring in Liege is easier said than done.
