Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Yeni 4 Eylul Stadyumu will host Thursday’s Europa League game between Sivasspor and Maccabi Tel Aviv. Sivasspor experienced all sorts of problems in a 5-3 loss to Villarreal in their opener, and it is no wonder the odds for away win have been dropping. It has to be noted that Sivasspor suffered a 3-0 loss to Shakhtar Donetsk in their first and only home game in the Europa League.
Maccabi Tel Aviv, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Qarabag. The Israelis aim to keep their 100% record in Group I, and we predict that they are going to take advantage of Sivasspor’s shaky defence. A man to watch in the away team will be Yonathan Cohen, who scored the winner against Qarabag. It has to be noted that this will be the first meeting between the two clubs in European competitions.
