Our prediction for this MLS match:
Seattle Sounders will be looking to regain top position in the Western Conference when they take on San Jose Earthquakes at CenturyLink Field. Seattle have been having their ups and downs ever since they restarted the season, but, one thing is for sure, they look sharp in front of goal. Seeing that the Sounders scored nine goals in total in the previous four MLS fixtures, we are positive that they will find the net against San Jose.
The Earthquakes are sitting at the bottom of the standings ahead of the trip to Washington, but given Seattle’s shaky defence, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. San Jose forward Danny Hoesen, who picked up a knock in a 1-1 draw with Colorado, is unlikely to feature in Friday’s clash. As for the home team, Dany Leyva is sidelined with injury, while Shandon Hopeau is rated doubtful.
