After suffering a 2-0 loss at Gil Vicente at the weekend, Rio Ave will be looking to return to winning ways in the Primeira Liga when they welcome Boavista at their Estadio do Rio Ave on Matchday 9. Rio Ave aim to represent Portugal in European competitions for yet another term, but they do not seem to be at their sharpest ahead of the visit of Boavista. Fabio Coentrao and Junio are both likely to miss Sunday’s clash with injury.

The Black and Whites, on the other hand, played out a goalless draw with Belenenses in their last league match.
