Rennes will be looking to put an end to their three-game winless run in the Ligue 1 when they welcome Lens at their Roazhon Park. Les Rouges et Noirs failed to beat ten-man Strasbourg at the weekend, but they are surely capable of defeating Lens at home ground. Rennes are eyeing their fourth home win of the season, but they will have to prove their worth on the field.

The newcomers, on the other hand, have been playing above expectations on their return to the Ligue 1, with the team sitting in the top half of the standings ahead of the trip to Rennes. Lens, though, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-1 loss to Angers, which is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. In each of their previous three meetings in the French top flight Rennes emerged triumphant.
