Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Match Time & Date:
Rayo Vallecano will be looking to build on back-to-back wins over Castellon and Zaragoza when they welcome Cartagena at their Campo de Futbol de Vallecas on Matchday 15. Los Vallecanos are eyeing their sixth home win of the season, but they can’t afford any complacency in Saturday’s clash. Talented attacker Antonin, who scored as a substitute in the 2-1 win over Zaragoza, is pushing for a start.
Cartagena, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form, with the team losing to both Mirandes and Mallorca in the previous two league fixtures. The Black and Whites have been struggling at the back of late, and given Rayo Vallecano’s home record, we predict that the visitors are going to return home empty-handed. Cartagena defender Carlos David is sidelined through suspension, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the hosts.
