After surviving Volendam in the Dutch Cup, PSV will be looking to keep their Jupiler League title hopes when they take on RKC Waalwijk at Philips Stadion. PSV rolled over Sparta Rotterdam (5-3) in their last league fixtures, but the Rood-witten need to keep on making progress if they are to put an end to Ajax’s dominance in the Dutch top flight. Roger Schmidt rested several first-team regulars in the win over Volendam, but he is going to field the best possible side against RKC.

The likes of Gotze, Ledezma, Obispo, and Romero remain in the recovery room. Fred Grim’s charges, on the other hand, failed to win the previous six league fixtures, and seeing that PSV do not suit them, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. In the first half of the season PSV rolled over RKC 4-1. Ola John is likely to miss the game with injury for the visitors.
