Portsmouth will be looking to stay in the race for top position when they host Northampton at their Fratton Park on Matchday 9. John Marquis has found his goalscoring touch of late, meaning that the opposition defenders should have him at bay.

It has to be noted that Portsmouth are eyeing their only second home win of the season. Northampton, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 2-0 loss to Charlton Athletic. The Cobblers failed to impress in a 2-0 loss to Charlton Athletic, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the promotion-chasing side.
