Our prediction for this MLS match:
Portland Timbers and Dallas face each other in a highly-anticipated game at Providence Park on Monday morning. A place in the MLS playoffs quarter-finals is at stake, and, no doubt, there will be fireworks when the two teams square off against each other for the first time this season. Portland are a real force to be reckoned with at home, and you should bear in mind that they are eyeing their seventh home win of the season.
Dallas, on the other hand, continue with their old habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, and it is no surprise they are seen as underdogs in Monday’s clash. The Toros managed to keep three clean sheets in the previous five league fixtures, and seeing that there have been under 2.5 goals in five of Portland’s last six games in MLS, a low-scoring affair is on the cards at Providence Park.
