Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Oldham Town and Tranmere Rovers go head to head at Boundary Park on day 15 of the new League Two campaign. Oldham are eyeing their fourth consecutive win in all competitions, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. Harry Kewell rested several first-team regulars in the FA Cup win over Bradford City, but he is going to field the best possible side against Tranmere.
The Rovers, on the other hand, made a slow start to the season, but their current form is surely giving fans a reason for optimism. Tranmere are on a four-game winning run in the League Two, and seeing that they have been scoring goals for fun of late, we are tempted to put our money on over 2.5 goals. It has to be noted that over 2.5 goals have been netted in six of Oldham’s last seven games in all competitions.
