Oldham are eyeing their fourth consecutive win in all competitions, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. Harry Kewell rested several first-team regulars in the FA Cup win over Bradford City, but he is going to field the best possible side against Tranmere.

The Rovers, on the other hand, made a slow start to the season, but their current form is surely giving fans a reason for optimism. Tranmere are on a four-game winning run in the League Two, and seeing that they have been scoring goals for fun of late, we are tempted to put our money on over 2.5 goals.
