Thanks to Lyle Taylor’s late goal Nottingham Forest defeated Coventry City 2-1 in midweek. The Reds regained a much-needed confidence, and they will be looking to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they host newcomers Wycombe at the City Ground. The Chairboys made a slow start to the season, but they have been showing signs of improvement of late, with the team beating both Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham City in the previous two league fixtures.

Wycombe, though, are not regarded as good travellers, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Nottingham Forest’s party at the City Ground. When the two teams met in the EFL Cup nine years ago the Reds outclassed the Chairboys 4-1, and we predict that the history is going to repeat itself. The likes of Arter and Grabban could recover in time to face Wycombe.
