Northampton have recorded only two wins at home ground this season. The Gills, on the other hand, aim to build on a thrilling 4-1 win over Rochdale.

Gillingham quickly bounced back from a 2-0 loss to Accrington, meaning that they are high on spirits ahead of the midweek clash. Experienced forward John Akinde, who scored a brace in the Boxing Day clash, will be one of the men to watch in the away team. Anyhow, we are tempted to put our money on Gillingham, who are more of a team than Northampton Town.
