Nacional will be looking to build on a Taca de Portugal win over Leixoes when they welcome Tondela at their Estadio de Madeira. The Black and Whites have recorded no more than one win at home in the 2020/21 Primeira Liga campaign, but the game against Tondela could be the turning point for the hosts. Nacional boss Luis Freire has a full squad to choose from, and he is likely to field the best possible side against Tondela.

The visitors, on the other hand, failed to impress in a goalless draw with Moreirense, and, to make things even worse for head coach Pako Ayestaran, Mario Gonzales suffered an injury. Since midfielder Joao Pedro is out of contention through suspension, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts, who are desperate to return to winning ways in the Portuguese elite division.
