Our prediction for this Champions League match:
All eyes will be on Stadion im Borussia-Park when Borussia M’gladbach and Real Madrid face each other in the Champions League round 2. The Bundesliga kicked off their Champions League campaign with a nice 2-2 draw with Inter in Milano, and, no doubt, that is giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of Tuesday’s showdown. Die Fohlen came from behind to beat Mainz in their last Bundesliga game, which is yet another reason why we predict that the hosts are going to grab something from the clash against the Spanish giants.
Los Blancos, on the other hand, did well to beat Barcelona 3-1 in “El Clasico” at the weekend, with the team quickly recovering from a shocking 3-2 loss to Shakhtar Donetsk. Since Real Madrid are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in the Borrusia-Park showdown, we are tempted to put our money on over 2.5 goals. Eden Hazard and Dani Carvajal remain in the recovery room for los Blancos.
