After suffering a 1-0 loss at Leganes in the suburbs of Madrid, Mirandes will be looking to return to winning ways in La Liga 2 when they host Sporting Gijon at their Estadio Municipal de Anduva on Saturday evening. The start of the season has been a mixed bag for los Rojillos, and, as a result, they sit in the middle of the standings ahead of the visit of Sporting Gijon.

Los Rojiblancos, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over ten-man Castellon. Sporting Gijon have been in a splendid form of late, with the team eyeing their fourth consecutive triumph in the Spanish second tier. The visitors are high on confidence ahead of Saturday’s clash, and given Mirandes’ anything but good start to the season, we are tempted to put our money on David Gallego’s men.
