Our prediction for this Championship match:
Middlesbrough and Rotherham United face each other at Riverside Stadium in what is expected to be a very exciting game. The Boro have been producing splendid displays in December, with the team beating the likes of Millwall, Luton, and Birmingham City, and, no doubt, they are high on spirits ahead of the visit of Rotherham. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Britt Assombalonga, who is likely to keep his place in the starting XI after finding the net in the triumph over Birmingham.
The Millers, on the other hand, continue with their old habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels; therefore, we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling the Boro’s party at Riverside Stadium. In their last meeting in the Championship Middlesbrough defeated Rotherham 2-1, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered.
