After coming from behind to beat Porto 3-1 in their Champions League opener, Manchester City will be looking to retain top position in Group C when they take on Olympique Marseille at Stade Velodrome on Tuesday evening. The Citizens were anything but impressive in the triumph over Porto, and it is more than obvious that Pep Guardiola’s troops have yet to find their best form in the 2020/21 season.

Gabriel Jesus, Fernandinho and Mendy remain in the recovery room, while centre-back Ake is rated doubtful for the Marseille game. The Ligue 1 outfit, on the other hand, were more than unfortunate not to grab something from their Champions League opener, with Olympiakos scoring the winner in the stoppage time. Olympique Marseille face an uphill task in their second group game, and we do not believe that they are capable of matching the Premier League giants behind closed doors despite Man City’s poor form.
