Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Manchester City will be looking to cement top position in Group C when they host Olympiakos Piraeus at their Etihad Stadium. The Citizens did well to beat both Porto and Marseille in the first two group games, and, no doubt, the return of Kevin de Bruyne to the starting XI is going to help the team improve their game. Man City aim to get their job done in the group stages of the elite competition as soon as possible, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the Thrylos in Tuesday’s showdown.
Gabriel Jesus should play some part against Olympiakos, while Aguero, Fernandinho, and Mendy are all likely to miss out. Olympiakos did well to beat Marseille at home in their opener, but they failed to make life difficult for Porto at Estadio Do Dragao. Since the Greek champions are not regarded as good travellers, they are unlikely to spoil Manchester City’s party at Etihad Stadium.
