Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
As expected, Mallorca suffered a 2-0 loss to Sevilla at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan at the weekend. Los Bermellones continue with their habit of impressing at home, while struggling on the travels, and it is no wonder they are seen as favourites to win Thursday’s home fixture against Granada. Mallorca did well to beat Celta Vigo (5-1) and Levante (2-0) in the previous two home games, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism. Los Bermellones are three points behind the “safe zone”, meaning that this has to go down as a must-win game for them.
Los Granadinos, on the other hand, are eyeing a place in the Europa League, but given Mallorca’s home record in La Liga, we predict that the visitors are going to return to Andalusia empty-handed. It has to be noted that the likes of Gonalons, Lozano, Martinez, and Quini are all likely to miss the match with injury for the visitors.
