Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Thanks to a goalless draw with Hoffenheim, Crvena Zvezda booked their place in the Europa League knockout stages. Dejan Stankovic’s troops have already got their job done, but they surely want to collect three more points to help Serbian Superliga improve their coefficient. Aleksandar Katai remains in the recovery room, but full-back Milan Rodic should recover in time to face Liberec.
Dejan Stankovic rested several first-team regulars in a 1-0 win over Zlatibor Cajetina at the weekend, but he should field the best possible side against Liberec. The Czech outfit aim to build on a hard-fought 2-1 win over Gent, but seeing that they head into Thursday’s clash with the lack of motivation, we are tempted to put our money on the Serbian champions. When the two teams met in Belgrade earlier in the process Zvezda crushed Liberec 5-1, which is yet another reason why away win should be considered.
