Our prediction for this Belgium Pro League match:
Mechelen will be aiming to make amends for a heavy 3-0 loss to Club Brugge when they take on Leuven at Den Dreef on Sunday afternoon. Mechelen have been struggling at the back of late, with the team conceding eight goals in total in the previous three league fixtures, and given Leuven’s fine form, we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the visiting team.
Experienced attacker Igor de Camargo remains in the recovery room for the visitors. Following three consecutive wins in the Jupiler League, Leuven shared the spoils with Mouscron in midweek. Midfielder Mathieu Martens returns from suspension, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the home team this time out. It has to be noted that Marc Brys’ men defeated the likes of Mouscron and Cercle Brugge in the previous two home games in the Jupiler League.
