Our prediction for this Premier League match:
After suffering yet another disappointing loss, Manchester City will be looking to regain a much-needed confidence when they face Leeds United at Elland Road. The Citizens were anything but good in the 5-2 loss to Leicester City, with attacking duo Aguero – Jesus being sorely missed. Pep Guardiola’s troops aim to return to winning ways as soon as possible, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the Whites.
In the absences of key attackers, Raheem Sterling should be deployed up front as a lone striker. Leeds United, on the other hand, have been playing some attractive football on their return to the Premier League, but Man City are likely to pose a much bigger threat for the hosts than their previous rivals. When the two teams met in the FA Cup seven years ago the Citizens outclassed the Whites 4-0, and the history is likely to repeat itself.
