Our prediction for this Nations League match:
Latvia play host to Malta at their Daugavas stadions in what is expected to be a very interesting game. The Latvians are undefeated in the previous five games in all competitions, and, no doubt, they are high on spirits ahead of the visit of Malta. The former Soviet republic failed to turn their dominance into victory in a 1-1 draw with Faroe Islands, but they are definitely capable of beating the Maltese at home ground.
The minnows played out a goalless draw with Andorra in their last group match, with the team taking no more than one shot on target. Considering that Malta are not regarded as good travellers, we are tempted to put our money on Latvia, who have been making progress ever since Dainis Kazakevics took over the reins. Talented attacker Roberts Uldrikis is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts.
