Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Raiffeisen Arena will host Thursday’s Europa League qualifier between LASK and Dunajska Streda. LASK have been struggling to find their form after the coronavirus football break, and, as a result, they failed to put an end to Salzburg’s dominance in the Austrian Bundesliga. The Black and Whites, though, kicked off the new domestic campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Austria Vienna, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Dunajska Streda.
The Slovaks recorded a thrilling 5-3 win over Jablonec in the previous qualifying round, but LASK are likely to pose a much bigger threat for them than their previous rivals. Even though both Thomas Goiginger and Marvin Potzmann are likely to miss the game through injury, we are tempted to put our money on the Austrians. It has to be noted that LASK recorded six wins in the last seven home games in the Europa League.
