Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
After eliminating Hamilton Academical in the FA Cup last 16, Rangers will be aiming to stay in the race for the Premiership trophy when they take on Kilmarnock on Wednesday evening. Steven Gerrard’s troops recorded a hard-fought 2-1 win over Hibernian in their last league fixture, and the team’s recent performances in the national championship have been anything but brilliant.
The Gers face a difficult task against the in-form Killie, but given the importance for the match for the title-chasing side, away win should be considered. Alfredo Morelos, who found the net in the 4-1 win over Hamilton, will be one of the men to watch in the away team. Kilmarnock did well to hold Aberdeen to a goalless draw in the FA Cup at the weekend, but we believe that preventing Rangers attackers from finding the net is easier said than done.
