Our prediction for this EFL Cup match:
After eliminating Bristol Rovers in round 2, Ipswich Town will be looking to claim a major scalp in the EFL Cup when they face Fulham on Wednesday. The Tractor Boys made a flying start to their Championship campaign as well, with the team beating Wigan 2-0, and, no doubt, they are capable of matching the Cottagers at home ground. Fulham experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the Premier League loss to Arsenal, with football experts in England already thinking that Scott Parker’s men will not be competitive at this level.
The visitors are low on confidence ahead of the trip to Ipswich, and seeing that the club’s main goal is to secure the Premier League survival, we are tempted to put our money on the underdogs this time out. Wales midfielder Gwion Edwards is widely expected to return to the starting XI for the hosts.
