The Tigers experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-2 loss at Blackpool, but despite the defeat they remained in top position in the standings. Hull City suffered a dip in form, and it is no wonder the odds for away win have been dropping.

The likes of Callum Jones, Martin Samuelsen and Alfie Jones remain in the recovery room for the hosts, while midfielder George Honeyman should be fit to face the Pompey. Portsmouth played out a goalless draw with Fleetwood at home on Tuesday evening, with the team keeping their third consecutive clean sheet in the League One. Since Hull City do not seem to be at their sharpest ahead of the League One derby, we are tempted to put our money on under 2.5 goals. Tom Naylor has recovered in time to face the Tigers.
