Groningen will be looking to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Vitesse when they host Den Haag at their Euroborg in the Eredivisie round 19. The Green-White Army failed to impress in their last league match, but they produce much better showings at home than on the travels. Arjen Robben remains in the recovery room, but the Dutch veteran should the only absentee in the home team.

Den Haag, on the other hand, were anything but brilliant in a goalless draw with Emmen at the weekend. De Ooievaars have been struggling on the travels of late, and seeing that Groningen are eager to return to winning ways in the Eredivisie, we are tempted to put our money on Danny Buijs’ charges. It has to be noted that Bijen and Janmaat are both sidelined through injuries ahead of the midweek clash.
