Our prediction for this Nations League match:
Greece play host to Kosovo at Olympic Stadium of Athens “Spiros Louis” on Wednesday evening. The Greeks aim to build on a 2-0 win over Moldova, and seeing that Slovenia are breathing down their neck, this game is of big importance for the home team. Talented attacker Vangelis Pavlidis is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts. The Kosovars, on the other hand, do not seem to be at the top of their game.
Following a 2-1 loss to North Macedonia in the Euro 2021 playoffs, the team suffered a 1-0 loss to Slovenia in their third group game. Since Greece are eager to cement top position in Group 3, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. Kosovo key player Milot Rashica remains in the recovery room, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the Greeks.
