Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Granada take on Athletic Bilbao at their Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes in the opening match of the season. Los Granadinos were playing above expectations last season, and, as a result, they booked their place in European competitions. The Andalusian outfit will play on three fronts in the upcoming season, meaning that boss Diego Martinez will have to stick to the rotation policy. The likes of Luis Milla, Maxime Gonalons, Alberto Soro, and Dimitri Foulquier signed permanent deals with the club in the summer transfer window, with Real Madrid defender Jesus Vallejo extending his loan spell.
As for Athletic Club, the Lions failed to impress in the 2019/20 season, and, no doubt, they are eager to make amends for the unsuccessful campaign. The club chiefs did not make too many changes to the squad in the summer transfer window, and seeing that Granada are tough to beat at home, the visitors are likely to return to the Basque Country empty-handed.
