Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Gillingham and Hull City face each other at Priestfield Stadium in what is expected to be one of the most exciting matches of Saturday’s program. Over the years Gillingham have established themselves as a mid-table side in the League One, but, no doubt, they will give their best to secure a top-six finish this time out. The Gills did well to beat Southend in their Carabao Cup opener, and that is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Hull City.
It has to be noted, though, that defender Ryan Jackson misses the Hull City game through suspension after he was sent off in the EFL Cup clash. The Tigers are on a quest to secure a quick return to the Championship, but seeing that they could be without forward Tom Eaves (injury) in the season opener, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw.
