The visitors, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 2-1 loss to Mechelen, with the team experiencing all sorts of problems at the back. Waregem did well to beat Cercle Brugge in their last away game, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry in the Ghelamco Arena showdown. In their last meeting at the venue Gent defeated Waregem 2-0.
