Our prediction for this Champions League match:
A place in the Champions League group stages will be at stake when Gent and Dynamo Kiev face each other in the two-legged tie. Gent did well to beat Rapid Vienna in the previous qualifying round, with the team making amends for poor displays in the national championship. A man to watch in the home team will be Ukraine international Roman Yaremchuk, who found the net in the 2-1 win over Rapid. Dynamo Kiev, on the other hand, eliminated AZ Alkmaar in the 3rd qualifying round, with Luxembourg international Gerson Rodrigues once again proving his worth.
The Ukrainian side, though, are not regarded as good travellers, and seeing that Gent are tough to beat at home, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. When the two teams met in the Champions League qualifiers ten years ago Dynamo Kiev outplayed Gent, but share of spoils is on the cards this time out.
