There will be fireworks when Gent and Anderlecht face each other in the Jupiler League derby at Ghelamco Arena on Sunday. Gent desperately needed a win against Waasland-Beveren, and they managed to get one in style (4-1), with the team regaining a much-needed confidence. De Buffalo’s aim to keep on climbing the standings, and we are positive that they will go for a win in Sunday’s derby.

Keep in mind, though, that Gent head into the match following the Europa League showdown with Serbian champions Crvena Zvezda. Anderlecht, on the other hand, defeated Antwerp 1-0 at the weekend despite being hit by coronavirus. The Purple & White head into the Ghelamco Arena clash with a severely-weakened squad as well, and given Gent’s display in the crushing of Waasland-Beveren, we predict that the visitors are going to return to Brussels empty-handed.
