Our prediction for this Championship match:
As expected, Fulham suffered a 4-0 loss to Manchester City in the FA Cup round 4, but the team’s main goal is securing the Premier League survival. The Cottagers have been impressive at the back in the Championship of late, and they are likely to rely on their rock-solid defence against Huddersfield Town. Seeing that key attacker Aleksandar Mitrovic is unlikely to recover in time to face the Terriers, yet another low-scoring affair is on the horizon.
To make things even worse for the hosts, USA defender Tim Ream is sidelined through suspension as he was sent off in the 4-0 loss to Man City. The Terriers, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Hull City, but beating the Cottagers in London is easier said than done. Even though Fulham are without top scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic, we believe that home win should be considered as the Cottagers are seen as one of the main candidates for automatic promotion.
