Finland
France will be aiming to build on a 2-1 win over Croatia when they welcome Finland at their Stade de France in a friendly. Fit-again Paul Pogba has made the cut, while in-form Borussia M’gladbach attacker Marcus Thuram could make his France debut against Finland. Kylian Mbappe has been included despite injury problems, but he is unlikely to be risked in Wednesday’s clash. A man to watch in the home team will be Barcelona attacker Antoine Griezmann, who has found his goalscoring touch with Barcelona of late.
Finland, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back Nations League wins over Bulgaria and Iceland, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against les Tricolores. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be Norwich City attacker Teemu Pukki, but we predict that towering France defenders will prevent him from scoring in Wednesday’s friendly. Talented attacker Marcus Forss, who has been scoring goals for fun with Brentford, is likely to make his Finland debut against France.
