Our prediction for this MLS match:
Cincinnati will be looking to build on a 2-1 win over Columbus Crew when they welcome DC United at their Nippert Stadium on Monday morning. Cincinnati did well to put an end to their four-game winless run at the weekend, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence, but they need to keep on improving their game if they are to make it to the MLS playoffs.
Japan international Yuya Kubo, who found the net in the midweek fixture, will be one of the men to watch in the home team. The capital club, on the other hand, do not seem to be at their sharpest ahead of the match. DC United are on a nine-game winless run in the Major League Soccer, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Cincinnati’s party at Nippert Stadium. The likes of Arriola, Segura, and Birnbaum are likely to miss the game for the visitors.
