Our prediction for this MLS match:
Cincinnati will be looking to make amends for back-to-back losses to the likes of New York Red Bulls and Atlanta United when they host D.C. United at Nippert Stadium. Cincinnati continue where they left last season, and it is more than obvious that they do not seem to be competitive at this level. January signing Yuya Kubo, who opened his goal-scoring account in the 2-1 loss to Atlanta United, will be the man to keep an eye on in the home team.
D.C. United, on the other hand, quickly bounced back from a 2-1 loss to Colorado Rapids, with the team beating Inter Miami 2-1 in front of home fans. The capital club aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, and given Cincinnati’s poor start to the season, away win should definitely be considered. It has to be noted, though, that Joseph Mora and Ola Kamara are doubtful for the Cincinnati trip.
