Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Famalicao and Boavista face each other in a highly-anticipated game at Estadio Municipal de Famalicao. Joao Pedro Sousa’s troops impressed in the Primeira Liga last term, but they have not been as impressive in the new season. Famalicao have been scoring goals for fun of late, but it is more than obvious that they struggle at the back. Seeing that Colombian defender Edwin Herrera is banned for the match, we do not believe that the hosts are capable of keeping a clean sheet in Sunday’s clash.
The Black and Whites, on the other hand, aim to put an end to their four-game winless run in the Primeira Liga, but, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from the match. Given Famalicao’s shaky defence and impressive attack, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. Adil Rami, who suffered an injury in a 1-0 loss to Guimaraes, is unlikely to feature against Famalicao.
